Soraya Fraiha is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in supporting refugees and migrants across various roles. Currently serving as the City and Hackney Refugee and Migrant Forum Lead & City VCS Development Outreach Officer at Hackney CVS since July 2022, Soraya builds partnerships with key statutory agencies to prioritize the needs of refugees and migrants within the Integrated Care System and analyzes relevant policy developments. Previously, Soraya was a Board Member at I Know My Rights - IKMR, where leadership in gender-based initiatives and management of logistics related to child welfare under refugee law were key responsibilities. Earlier experience includes working as an Expatriate Assistant at Gabe Immigration and Relocation, facilitating immigration processes for expatriates, and as a Refugee Relief and NGO Management Assistant at IKMR, focusing on social integration for migrant children and addressing service inequalities. Soraya holds a Master’s degree in Development Economics and International Development from the University of Sussex, alongside a Master's in International Chaplaincy and a Bachelor's in International Relations.
