Jorge Elias Guzman

Jorge Elias Guzman has a diverse work experience that spans from 2008 to 2022. In 2008, they began their career as an Aircrew Survival/Flight Equipment Marine at VMFA(AW)-121, where they supervised personnel during maintenance activities and advised pilots and aircrew personnel on proper use of survival equipment. Jorge Elias then moved on to become an Aircrew Survival/Flight Equipment Quality Assurance Inspector at HMH-465, where they performed scheduled maintenance on CH-53E Sea Stallion helicopters' egress systems and handled Cartridge Actuated Devices explosives. In 2013, they became an Aircrew Survival/Flight Equipment Supervisor at VMFA(AW)-121, where they evaluated personnel on regular duty performance and ensured all department personnel had proper certifications, qualifications, medical evaluations, and licenses to perform required duties. In 2014, they began working at Mr. Guzman Appliances as a Business Manager & Administrator, where they inspected and maintained major domestic appliances for customers and provided quality customer service. That same year, they also began working at The Gill Corporation as a Final Inspector and Quality Control Technician, where they inspected honeycomb sandwich panels and tested product samples for deflection, impact strength, sheer strength, long bean load, drum peel, density & viscosity, and flammability. In 2015, they began working at Shultz Steel Co as a Dimensional Inspector, where they inspected open and closed dye steel forgings for manufacturers dimensional conformance. In 2016, they began working at Edelbrock Corporation as a CMM Inspector. In 2017, they began working at Virgin Orbit as a Precision Inspector and Quality Assurance Technician - Propulsion, where they performed visual and dimensional inspections, developed automated programs for dimensional inspections, and programmed, set up, and executed vibration testing. Finally, in 2022, they began working at Hadrian as a CMM Programmer and at Collins Aerospace as a Senior Quality Engineer - Metrology, where they worked within a cross functional team supporting the Quality organization by managing and driving to closure activities and schedules, defined work instructions, process plans, inspection programs, macro/automation scripts & standard processes, and designed, developed, and automated SharePoint embedded dashboards/reports.

Jorge Elias Guzman obtained a Full Stack Developer Program degree from San Diego Global Knowledge University in 2021, with a field of study in Computer Programming. Jorge Elias also obtained a certification in Learning npm the Node Package Manager from LinkedIn in November 2021.
