Barbara Baumann-Baretti

Barbara Baumann-Baretti has extensive experience in the fields of transfusion medicine and quality control. Since April 2003, Barbara has served as a member of the board and Chief Medical Officer at Haema Blut- & Plasmaspendedienst, where responsibilities also include leading quality control and laboratory operations. Prior to this role, Barbara completed a specialized training in transfusion medicine at Charité from April 1996 to March 2003. Earlier career positions include assistant physician in internal medicine at Krankenhaus Nordwest and Stadtkrankenhaus Rüsselsheim from 1990 to 1993. Barbara holds a degree from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, where studies began in 1984 and concluded with a doctorate in 1991.
