Magnús Magnússon

Magnús is the CSO of Hagar but he took up the position on February 1, 2021. Magnús holds an M.Eng. degree in Industrial Engineering and Analytical Analysis from UC Berkeley, California, and a B.Sc. in industrial engineering from the University of Iceland. Magnús has extensive experience in strategy as well as general operations, both in Iceland and abroad. In 2020, he worked as an independent consultant, having led Marel's strategy team in previous years. Prior to that, Magnús worked as a consultant for the international consulting company McKinsey & Company, where he assisted a number of international companies with strategy, operational improvements and major transformations, and before that he worked for the software company AGR Dynamics.
