Herb Bindel has a strong work experience spanning several industries. Herb began their career as a Manager at Carlos OKellys from 1993 to 2000, where they were responsible for hiring, managing, and terminating employees, as well as overseeing day-to-day operations. In 2000, they joined Metro Lock & Security Inc as a Technical Service Manager, where they completed scheduled service calls, maintained inventory controls, and surveyed customer needs for security devices until 2014. Since 2014, Bindel has been working at Hager Companies, starting as a Technical Product Support Consultant II and progressing to Supervisor Technical Support & Master Keying, then Manager of Product Technical Support. Currently, they hold the role of Director of Customer Support, demonstrating their expertise and growth in the technical support field.

Herb Bindel's education history begins in 1986 when they enrolled in Burlington Community High School. Herb completed their high school education and obtained a High School Diploma in 1990. Afterward, from 1990 to 1992, they attended Southeast Iowa Community College and studied Business/Commerce, General.

In more recent years, Herb Bindel pursued further education at Webster University, starting in 2019. Herb is expected to complete their studies in 2023, focusing on Business Administration and Management, General.

Apart from their formal education, Herb Bindel has also obtained additional certifications. In March 2021, they received a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from the Management & Strategy Institute. Herb also obtained a Project Management Essentials Certification from the same institution in the same month and year.
