Collette Champagne

Collette Champagne is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in organizational leadership and human resources. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President & Chief People Officer at Hagerty since 1999, Collette is responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the department and enhancing workforce readiness to support business growth through effective recruitment and employee engagement initiatives. Additionally, Collette has been a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for Goodwill of Northern Michigan since October 2012. Prior to joining Hagerty, Collette was a Loan Officer at Chase from 1992 to 1999, where the focus was on retail consumer lending and leading efforts in generating government-guaranteed mortgage loans. Collette holds Bachelor's Degrees in Communications and Agriculture and Natural Resources from Michigan State University, along with additional education from the University of Michigan.
