Dino Velez

Dino Velez is a seasoned attorney with over 32 years of experience in public sector law, construction law, and employment and labor issues. Currently a Partner at Haight Brown & Bonesteel, Velez leads legal practices advising cities, counties, school districts, and public entities on a range of matters including education law and civil litigation. Prior roles include Partner at Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP, where Velez specialized in labor and employment matters and construction law. Previous legal experience also includes serving as General Counsel for Mt. Diablo Unified School District and Partner at Burke, Williams & Sorensen, LLP. Education includes a degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis, and a J.D. from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco.
