Syed Zia Ahmed

Syed Zia Ahmed has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as GM & Director of Sales & Business Development at Haimo Technologies Group Corp. since 2005, where the focus is on multiphase flow meters and well testing solutions. Prior to this role, Ahmed was a Sales Manager for Arabian Oil and Gas Field Services from 2003 to 2005, representing Krohne in Oman. From 2000 to 2003, Ahmed worked as a Consultant Engineer for Dar Al Riyadh Consultants, providing expertise to Aramco and Sabic in Saudi Arabia. Earlier career experience includes a position as an R&D Engineer in flow metering at FOXBORO/BELLS from 1994 to June 2000. Educational qualifications include a Mechanical Engineering degree from SJCE-Mysore University (1988-1992) and a Pre-University degree in Science from St Philomena College (1986-1988).
