Maria Sharabayko

Maria Sharabayko, Ph.D., serves as the Technical Manager for Product Development at Haivision since May 2018, where key projects include research and development of the Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) protocol and the creation of automated functional tests for Haivision KB Video Encoder & Transcoder, incorporating these tests into a CI/CD pipeline. Previously, from June 2017 to April 2018, Maria worked as a Quantitative Analyst specializing in model validation at Econophysica, focusing on forecasting the probability of default. Maria's earlier experience includes roles at Elecard from October 2011 to May 2017, first as a Sales Engineer and later as the Head of Pre-Sales Group, concentrating on IPTV/OTT/VOD solutions and transcoding software. Educationally, Maria holds a Ph.D. in Physico-mathematical sciences from Tomsk State University (2011-2016) and a Specialist Degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the same institution (2006-2011).
