Wang Ming has worked in a variety of roles since 2000. From 2000-2001, they were a Product Engineer at Shanghai Feilai Equity Investment Co., Ltd., where they were responsible for maintenance of wire rolling machines and then ballast design in the R&D department. From 2003-2004, they were the R&D Manager at McWong International, Inc., where they designed commercial lighting fixtures and negotiated between the purchasing and manufacturing departments. From 2004-2005, they were a Product Engineer at OSRAM. From 2005-2012, they were the Sourcing Manager at MaxLite, where they set up a lab in the Shanghai office, developed an inspection process, and tested samples before goods delivery. From 2012-2017, they were the Purchasing Manager at RAB Lighting, where they found and developed lighting companies with good management as RAB's strategy partners, sourced parts and accessories, quoted on new products, negotiated prices, and released tooling PO. From 2017-present, they are the Sourcing Director at Halco Lighting Technologies, where they find and develops lighting companies with decent management and quality as Halco's strategy partners, sources parts and accessories, quotes on new products, negotiates prices and terms, and processes vendor agreements.
Wang Ming attended the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Measurement Technology and Instrumentation. Wang then went on to pursue an EMBA from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
