Christian Bustamante

Christian Bustamante is an experienced professional in sustainability and environmental management, currently serving as an Executive Committee Member at the Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber since October 2022, representing producers, processors, and traders in the natural rubber industry. In addition, Christian has been a Senior Manager for Sustainability at Halcyon Agri Corporation Limited since August 2019, focusing on the promotion and integration of ESG issues. Previous roles include Sustainability Manager at Hitachi Asia Ltd., where responsibilities encompassed community investment and human rights due diligence, and Senior Consultant at Paia Consulting, executing sustainability strategies for various sectors. Christian's extensive experience also includes positions at Unilever Philippines, where achievements included leading sustainable packaging initiatives, and early career roles focused on environmental compliance and community projects. Christian holds a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Ateneo de Manila University.
