Isaac Yep's work experience includes the following:

- Currently working as a Data Engineer at Halcyon since May 2022. Isaac is responsible for data engineering, ETL pipelines, Databricks administration, CI/CD infrastructure, and data science and analysis for live data reporting.

- Worked as a Frontend Developer at beadedstream starting from January 2023.

- Worked at BlackBerry as an Associate Database Automation Engineer from March 2021 to May 2022. Isaac was part of the Data Architecture team and was involved in developing automations for data pipelines at an enterprise scale and DevOps solutions.

- Also worked as a Data Architecture Intern at BlackBerry from January 2021 to March 2021. Isaac contributed to and developed DevOps solutions and worked with a large and dynamic automation and CI/CD stack for data aggregation and visualization.

- Previous experience includes working as a Software Engineer Intern at NASA from June 2020 to August 2020, where they developed a full stack ASP.NET Core application supported by SQL Server.

- Worked as an Information Technology Support Specialist at The Computer Action Team @ PSU from October 2019 to December 2020.

- Worked as a Climate Change Researcher at Portland State University from June 2018 to April 2020.

- Self-employed as a Science Distance Education Consultant from January 2017 to February 2020. Also worked as a Private Contractor specializing in flooring and finish carpentry from May 2015 to March 2018.

- Worked as a Science Educator/Tutor at Grade Potential Tutoring from May 2018 to November 2019.

- Worked as a Sales Agent/Renewable Energy Advocate at Green Mountain Energy Company from May 2018 to September 2018.

- Worked as a Science Distance Education Consultant at Bristol Bay Economic Development Corp from January 2018 to June 2018.

Isaac Yep's education history begins in 2011 when they enrolled at the University of Alaska Anchorage to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Isaac studied in this program until 2016. In 2015, while still pursuing their bachelor's degree, Isaac began studying Mathematical Physics as part of a Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies program, which they completed in 2017.

In 2019, Isaac enrolled at Portland State University, where they obtained a Post-Baccalaureate degree in Computer Science by the following year. Isaac then continued their education at Portland State University and graduated with a Master of Science degree in Computer Science in 2021.
