Daniel J. Barker

Daniel J. Barker has held various roles throughout their career. Daniel J. is currently the Managing Director for Halcyon Incubator since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the Council on Foreign Relations as a Term Member starting in 2019. From 2019 to 2022, they served as Vice President for Research at the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth. Before that, they were a Vice President at BlackRock from 2018 to 2019. Daniel J. also worked as a Strategy Senior Consultant at Monitor Deloitte from 2014 to 2018 and as a Graduate Consultant at Social Finance, Inc. in 2014. Daniel J. had previous experience as a Program Coordinator at The Earth Institute from 2011 to 2012 and as a Research Associate at the Council on Foreign Relations from 2009 to 2011.

Daniel J. Barker has a Master of International Affairs degree with a specialization in International Finance and Economic Policy from Columbia | SIPA. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations (with honors) from New York University.
