Michelle O. began their education at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, where they obtained a Certificate in Sound in 2005. Michelle then pursued a General Associates degree in General Studies at Salt Lake Community College from 2009 to 2011.

In 2011, Michelle O. enrolled at Brigham Young University and focused their studies on Theatre Arts with an emphasis on Sound. Michelle completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in this field in 2014.

From 2014 to 2017, Michelle O. furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degree in Audio Technology at Purdue University.
