Prior to this role, Andy Hilton worked as a Patent Attorney at Haseltine Lake LLP from December 2012 to June 2018, focusing on patent drafting and prosecution in automotive and medical device sectors. As a Senior Engineer and Research Projects Leader at CALON CARDIO-TECHNOLOGY LTD from November 2009 to November 2012, significant contributions were made in the design and testing of an innovative implantable blood pump for heart failure treatment. Academic achievements include a PhD and MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, obtained in 2009 and 2006 respectively, as well as education at The Manchester Grammar School from 1994 to 2001.
