Water/wastewater Graduate Civil Engineer at Halff

Jared Jeffries, EIT, has a diverse work experience in civil and environmental engineering. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Civil Engineering Student at The University of Texas at Arlington, where they focused on environmental and structural engineering. During this time, they led a team in designing reinforced concrete structures, engineered components for a steel warehouse, and performed a remedial site feasibility study.

In 2020, Jared worked as a Mechanic's Apprentice at ACME Garage and TORN Racing, where they utilized their critical thinking abilities to solve mechanical and design problems for road and racing vehicles. Jared applied and developed skills in welding, electrical work, woodwork, metal fabrication, and auto-mechanics.

In 2015, Jared worked as a Facilities Maintenance Worker at TATE SPRINGS BAPTIST CHURCH.

Jared also has experience at Halff Associates, starting in 2022 as a Water/Wastewater Graduate Civil Engineer. Their responsibilities included generating system curves for pump selection, coordinating with various teams for pump station layout drafting, and assisting with utility projects and broadband system design as an intern prior to their current role.

Jared Jeffries, EIT, earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2022. Jared also completed a minor in Sustainable Engineering at the same institution during the same period. Jared has obtained multiple certifications and qualifications to further enhance their professional skills. Jared passed the Civil FE Exam in July 2021 and obtained the Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in July 2022. Additionally, Jared has obtained various AutoCAD Civil 3D certifications from LinkedIn, including Designing Gravity Pipe Systems, Plan Production, Site Design, Data Management Workflows, Pressure Pipe Design, and Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 Essential Training. In May 2023, they successfully passed the PE Civil: Water Resources & Environmental Exam administered by NCEES.
