Katie Lewis

Katie Lewis (Born) has a diverse work experience in the field of civil engineering. Katie started their career in 2011 as a Laboratory Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, where they worked until December 2012. In 2013, they joined Freese and Nichols as a Co-op for a period of seven months.

In 2015, Katie joined Weston Solutions, Inc. as an Intern and worked there until March 2016. Later in the same year, they worked as a Part-Time Graduate Engineer at AECOM from April to May.

From 2016 onwards, Katie has been associated with Halff Associates, where they have held multiple roles. Katie started as a Graduate Engineer in June 2016 and eventually became a Civil Engineer, PE, CFM in August 2019. Currently, they work as a Project Manager, a position they have held since May 2022.

Katie Lewis (Born) obtained a Master's degree in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, where they enrolled from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution, studying from 2010 to 2014. In terms of certifications, Katie obtained the Certified Flood Manager (CFM) certification from the Texas Floodplain Management Association in October 2019. Additionally, they acquired the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in August 2019. Earlier, in September 2015, they received their Engineer in Training certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
