Valery Slobodyuk

Valery Slobodyuk has a diverse work experience in the retail industry. They started their career at Aldi UK as an Assistant Buyer in 2011 and worked there until 2013. They then joined Poundland & Dealz as a Buyer from 2013 to 2015. After that, they worked as a Senior Category Manager at Holland & Barrett from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they joined Homebase as a Global Sourcing Buyer until 2018. Valery then joined Halfords, where they held multiple roles including Category Manager, Head of Category (Cycle Accessories), and Head of Trading. Currently, they are working as the Head of Trading and Commercial Strategy at Halfords.

Valery Slobodyuk earned a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Nottingham Trent University from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2009, Valery pursued another Bachelor's degree in Architecture at London Metropolitan University.
