Melissa Lee

Melissa Lee currently serves as the Sustainability & ESG Manager at Halifax International Airport Authority, a position held since November 2016, after previously working as an Environmental Program Specialist at the same organization. Before this role, Melissa Lee gained experience as an Environmental Technologist with the City of Moncton from January 2011 to October 2016 and briefly as a Technicienne en foresterie at the City of Dieppe in 2010. Earlier in their career, Melissa Lee worked as a Geoscience Information Officer for the Government of New Brunswick from 2005 to 2006. Academically, Melissa Lee holds a Master of Environmental Management from the University of New Brunswick and a Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Environmental Studies from Cape Breton University. Further professional development includes courses in managerial effectiveness and stakeholder engagement from Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary's University, alongside ongoing education in environmental management systems at Dalhousie University and a certificate in Airport Environmental Management from Canadian Airports Online College.
