Sumith Perera

Sumith Perera has over 20 years of experience in leading and managing teams at professional services firms. Sumith is currently the Chief Operating Officer and national Head of Corporate Services at Hall & Wilcox, where they are responsible for leading the firm's innovation strategy. Sumith is also the Board Chair at Marshall Day Acoustics, a leading firm of acoustic consultants. Previously, they served as a Board Member and eventual Chairman at Spectrum MRC, where they delivered services to migrants and refugees. Sumith has also held the position of Chief Operating Officer at BDO in Australia and served as the Operations Director at Deloitte Australia. Additionally, they have experience as a Chief Information Officer at CRT Group, where they managed IT strategy, implemented ERP systems, and assisted in coordinating the sale of the business. Sumith Perera began their career at Deloitte Australia, where they worked as a Senior Consultant in management consulting and financial audit roles.

Sumith Perera attended Harvard Business School Executive Education, where they completed a program in Leading Professional Services Firms with a focus on Organizational Leadership. This was completed by 2011.

From 1991 to 1994, Sumith Perera studied at Monash University, earning a Bachelor of Economics (B Ec) with a concentration in Economics & Finance.
