Helen Smyth

Helen Smyth is a seasoned geoscientist with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Products for Carbon Abatement and Neftex at Halliburton since October 2016. Previously, Helen held positions such as Chief Product Manager for Geology and Lead of the iEnergy University Hub at Landmark, overseeing various geoscience applications and university outreach activities. Helen's professional history includes roles as Domain Owner for Basin Analysis at Halliburton-Landmark, as well as serving as a Senior Regional Geoscientist at Neftex Exploration Insights. With a solid academic foundation that includes a PhD in Geology from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a BSc in Geology from Queen's University Belfast, Helen has a proven track record in project leadership and multidisciplinary team management, particularly in geological consulting and research initiatives throughout their career.
