Doug Slape is an experienced regulatory advisor and financial professional with a diverse background in the insurance industry. Currently serving as the Owner of JD & Associates Advisory Services since July 2022, Doug Slape specializes in providing regulatory advisory services, including strategy development for mergers and acquisitions, company formations, and new product launches. Additionally, Doug Slape contributes as a Board Member for Hallmark Financial Services Inc. and has an extensive history with the Texas Department of Insurance from October 1988 to March 2022, where roles included Chief Deputy Commissioner and Acting Commissioner of Insurance. Doug Slape holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University, graduating in 1988.
