Asad Niyaz

Asad Niyaz, CHRL, has extensive experience in Human Resources and Labour Relations, currently serving as Director of Human Resources at Hallmark Housekeeping Services Inc. since July 2018. In this role, Asad provides expertise on people-related matters nationally while ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and collective agreements. Previously, Asad worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at GardaWorld Services RH from November 2011 to June 2018, where responsibilities included liaising with stakeholders, ensuring policy compliance, directing health and safety initiatives, and engaging in labour relations activities. Asad’s early career includes a position as Assistant HR Director at Arbitrage Magazine, focusing on recruitment and team leadership. Asad holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from Seneca Polytechnic and a Bachelor of Arts in History with a Minor in Law from Carleton University.
