Ajith Abeynaike

Ajith Abeynaike has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Ajith is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Hallmark Cards, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, Ajith was the Chief Financial Officer, ANZ at Hallmark Cards from October 2018 to March 2023.

Before joining Hallmark Cards, Ajith worked as a Partner at Biz One Solutions, providing support and advice to organizations in various sectors. Ajith'sareas of expertise included corporate finance, accounting, tax planning, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, banking negotiations, and project management, among others. Ajith started working at Biz One Solutions in June 2004 and their tenure is ongoing.

Prior to Biz One Solutions, Ajith held positions such as the Chief Financial Officer at KOOKAI Australia from June 2017 to August 2018, Group Financial Controller at United Petroleum Pty Ltd from July 2014 to May 2017, and Corporate Project Manager at Wesfarmers from December 2013 to June 2014.

Ajith also has extensive experience working at Bunnings, where they served as the Group Financial Controller from March 2006 to June 2014. Before that, they worked at Campbell Arnott's as the CFO of the SnackFoods Division from August 2002 to April 2004. In this role, they successfully negotiated a distribution arrangement for the "Pringles" brand and led cost-saving projects.

Earlier in their career, Ajith worked at Kellogg Company as the Director of Finance & IT for Australia/NZ from 1997 to 2002. During this time, they led a business process reengineering project, played a key role in the Healthy Snack Foods acquisition, and implemented a company-wide program to improve cash flow delivery. Ajith also worked at Philips as a Financial Controller from December 1996 to November 1997 and at Simplot Australia Pty Ltd as a Commercial Manager from January 1994 to November 1996.

Ajith Abeynaike attended RMIT University from 1989 to 1993. After completing their studies at RMIT, there is no specific information about further education or degrees obtained.
