Matthew Pfister

Matthew Pfister has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Matthew is currently working at Halo Investing as the VP of Frontend Engineering, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company since May 2021. Before joining Halo Investing, Matthew was a Solution Architect at Slalom Build from January 2014 to May 2021. In this role, they collaborated with clients to develop and deploy various products and applications using technologies such as TypeScript, Python, React, Vue, GraphQL, AWS, Serverless, Node, and Java. Matthew'sresponsibilities also included driving client communications and enhancing team-based skills. From January 2013 to December 2013, Matthew worked as a Software Engineer at Zavteq, inc., where they gained expertise in web development and contributed to the development of a Django web application. Matthew also utilized SQL knowledge to create database schemas. Earlier in their career, Matthew worked as a Software Verification Engineer at Delphi Electronics & Safety Verification Lab from August 2010 to December 2011. In this role, they developed and verified software using C, C++, and C# for automobile electronic controllers. Additionally, Matthew has experience as a Network Technician at Micronet ICASP, where they provided technical support to clients and performed installation tasks.

Matthew Pfister attended Purdue University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History. Later, from 2012 to 2013, they enrolled at the University of Illinois Chicago and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
