Scott Balderas

Scott Balderas has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Scott is currently employed at Halozyme, Inc. as the Vice President and Head of FP&A, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Executive Director and Head of FP&A from January 2022 to October 2022, and as the Senior Director and Head of FP&A from July 2020 to January 2022. Scott also held various finance roles at Halozyme, including Director of Finance from January 2019 to July 2020, and Associate Director of Finance from July 2017 to January 2019. Before joining Halozyme, Scott worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Life Technologies) from 2010 to 2015, where they held the positions of Senior Manager of Finance, Sr. Financial Analyst, and Financial Analyst. Scott'searlier work experience includes a role as Branch Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car from 2005 to 2008.

Scott Balderas completed their Bachelor of Science in Management Science at UC San Diego from 2001 to 2005. Following this, they pursued higher education at the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business where they obtained their MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from 2008 to 2010.
