Alex Shayevsky

Prior to joining HalseyPoint, Alex was a Senior Analyst in Citadel Advisors’ High Yield, Event Driven, and Distressed Credit group, which he joined in June of 2015 as the second hire. Alex helped recruit the team and grow the portfolio in excess of $1 billion. During his time at Citadel he covered Energy, Telecom, Healthcare, and Metals & Mining.

Prior to joining Citadel, Alex was an Executive Director at JPMorgan where he spent 10 years as a desk analyst in Credit Trading. At JPMorgan he covered a broad spectrum of sectors throughout his career including Airlines, Financials, Energy, Mining, Retail, Auto Suppliers, and Technology. Alex’s responsibilities ranged across analyzing par and distressed credit, training junior analysts, and helping syndicate financing for par and special situation borrowers.

Alex graduated from New York University Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting.
