Owen Johnston

Owen Johnston has a diverse work experience in the field of design, with a focus on experience and product design. Owen is currently working as a Principal Product Designer at Halter since March 2023. Prior to this, Owen worked at Twintype from September 2019 to March 2023 as an Experience Design and Strategy professional. Owen also served as a Director at PGRM from July 2018 to September 2019.

Before joining PGRM, Owen was the Experience Design Lead at Asia Pacific Digital from January 2018 to July 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a UX Design Lead at Alphero from May 2016 to January 2018.

Owen's earlier experiences includes working as a Creative/Experience Director at Satellite from December 2014 to May 2016, and as a Design Leadership - Digital professional at Designworks Ltd from March 2011 to December 2014. Owen also worked as a Senior Creative at Affinity ID from November 2010 to March 2011.

Furthermore, Owen has served as a Creative Lead at Born Digital from January 2006 to November 2010 and started their career as a Senior Digital Designer as a Freelancer from March 2003 to December 2005.

From 1998 to 2000, Owen Johnston attended Wintec - Waikato Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor of Media Arts degree with a specialization in Graphic Design.
