Phil Bannister

Phil Bannister has extensive work experience in the field of design. Phil started their career in 2016 as a UI/UX Designer at Purple Shirt and then worked as a Creative Director at CyberWorkshop from 2016 to 2019. In 2017, they joined Progressive Enterprises as a Lead UI/UX Designer & Consultant and later moved on to JUCY Group as a User Experience Designer, where they worked on projects for Jucy Cruise, Jucy Rentals, and Jucy Australia, while also mentoring the in-house designers. In 2018, they briefly worked as a UI/UX Designer at Whip Around. From 2019 to 2020, they served as the Mobile Design Lead at Boxer. In 2020, they joined Vodafone New Zealand as a Senior UX/UI Designer. From 2021 to 2023, they worked at Whip Around as Head of Design and then transitioned to the role of Designer & Consultant. Currently, they are working as a Principal Product Designer at Halter.

Phil Bannister attended Wintec - Waikato Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1993, where they pursued a Diploma in Graphic Design for three years. Before that, they studied at Cambridge High School and Upper Hutt College, although the specific duration and field of study are not provided.
