Xiaosong Ma

Xiaosong Ma has a diverse work experience spanning over several prestigious institutions. Ma started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1997. They then joined the Computer Science department at North Carolina State University in 2003, initially as an Assistant Professor and later as an Associate Professor until 2014. Most recently, Ma has been working at the Qatar Computing Research Institute, where they have held positions as a Senior Scientist from 2013 to 2016 and currently as a Principal Scientist.

Xiaosong Ma obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Peking University, which they attended from 1992 to 1997. Xiaosong further pursued their education and completed their PhD in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, from 1997 to 2003.
