In 2018, Zainab interned at Information and Communication Technology W.L.L., where they worked on a project developing a medical chatbot using artificial intelligence. Zainab also interned at Qatar Computing Research Institute in the same year, where their team's project on interactive visualization for tweet classification won first place among 23 projects.
In 2019, Zainab worked at Siemens on a consulting project focused on Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) and visualization of research-related files. Zainab used Talend, MySQL, and AnyChart integrated within PHP to create an ETL program that extracts data from various file formats and loads it into a MySQL database for easy retrieval and visualization in a front-end dashboard.
In 2020, Zainab interned at Deloitte Middle East as a Consulting Intern, gaining experience in the consulting industry. Zainab then joined Qatar Computing Research Institute as a Research Assistant, where they have contributed to publications on flood mapping and risk management.
