Mustafa Korkmaz

Mustafa Korkmaz is a professional wheelchair basketball athlete, currently playing for Rollstuhlbasketballclub Köln 99ers and HSV Hamburg, both in the first Bundesliga in Germany. Since 2015, Mustafa has served as the captain of the Netherlands Wheelchair Basketball Men's Team. In addition to athletic pursuits, Mustafa has held an administrative position with Gemeente Arnhem since 2007, processing income-related forms and managing client cases. Mustafa’s early career included a role as an ambassador for the Esther Vergeer Foundation, promoting sports for children with disabilities. Educationally, Mustafa holds a degree as a Social Legal Assistant from ROC van Twente and completed primary education in economics at Twents Carmel College. Previous professional basketball experience includes a tenure with Galatasaray SK from 2011 to 2013.
