Peter Lynch is an experienced fire and medical services professional with extensive instructional roles and operational experience. Currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at the Connecticut Fire Academy since October 2022, Lynch holds the position of Fire Lieutenant with the Town of Hamden since November 2011. Lynch has also contributed as an Emergency Medical Services Instructor with American Professional Educational Services from June 2020 to December 2023, and as a Paramedic at Yale New Haven Health from March 2018 to September 2023. Additional instructional experience includes positions at Eastern Connecticut Fire School and Gateway Community College. Lynch's background in emergency medical services includes roles as a Paramedic with American Medical Response, Madison Ambulance Assn, and Westerly Ambulance Corps. Lynch began a career in emergency services as a Firefighter/EMT with the City of New London. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Fire Science from the University of New Haven and a Bachelor of Science in Public Safety Administration from Charter Oak State College.
