Georgia Young

Georgia Young is an experienced urban planner currently serving as an Associate at Hames Sharley since June 2022 and as a Board Member for Surfing Western Australia since December 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Planning Officer and Planning Officer at the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage from February 2016 to June 2022, as well as a Graduate Planner in the same department. Georgia also briefly worked in Research and Development for the State Emergency Coordinator's Directorate in April 2020. Earlier career experience includes a position as a Receptionist and Administration Assistant at JCY Architects and Urban Designers from 2015 to February 2016. Georgia holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Curtin University and dual degrees in Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Western Australia, focusing on Geography, Marketing, and Management.
