Shakil Shaikh Do

Shakil Shaikh, DO, is an accomplished interventional cardiologist currently practicing at Hamilton Cardiology since August 2021. Prior to this role, Shakil Shaikh completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at NYU Winthrop Hospital from June 2020 to June 2021. Shakil Shaikh served as both Chief Cardiology Fellow and Cardiology Fellow at SUNY Downstate Medical Center from June 2017 to June 2020. Earlier experience includes an internal medicine residency at Baystate Health from June 2014 to June 2017. Shakil Shaikh earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in July 2014 and a Bachelor of Arts in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from Rutgers University–New Brunswick in 2010.
