Benny Sham

Benny Sham is a partner in the corporate practice group at Hamilton Locke. Benny has over 15 years of experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets transactions, corporate restructurings, and general corporate and commercial matters.

Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Benny was Of Counsel at Jones Day, where they advised on a wide range of M&A, private equity, capital markets, and general corporate matters. Benny has also worked as a Senior Associate at GRT Lawyers and as a Corporate Lawyer at Minor DKL Food Group.

Benny has a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Sydney and is admitted to practice as a solicitor in New South Wales.

Benny Sham attended Brisbane Grammar School before going on to The University of Queensland where they completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) / Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Commercial Law and Computer Science. Benny then undertook a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at The College of Law Australia before completing a Master of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property Law at The University of Queensland.
