Steven Yong

Business Development, APAC (ventilator) at Hamilton Medical

Steven Yong has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Steven is currently employed at Hamilton Medical as the Business Development Manager for the APAC region. Prior to that, they served as the Marketing Manager at O&M Halyard APAC. Before their role at O&M Halyard, they worked as the Business Development Manager for Hearing Solutions at WSAudiology.

Steven has also held positions at ConvaTec, where they served as the Senior Product Marketing Manager for Wound Care and had a short-term Regional Marketing Assignment in Thailand. Additionally, they worked at Novartis as a Product Manager and later as a Senior Professional Medical Representative in the Cardiovascular and Metabolism departments. Steven has also worked at Fuji Xerox Singapore as a Major Account Manager and at AstraZeneca as a Medical Representative.

Before beginning their career in the corporate world, Steven worked as a Resident Production Engineer at Hong Leong Asia Ltd. In their roles, they have demonstrated skills in business development, marketing, product management, and sales.

Steven Yong's education history begins in 2001 when they enrolled at the National University of Singapore. Steven completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree with a specialization in Microbiology in 2005.

In 2008, Steven pursued further education at the Marketing Institute of Singapore, where they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Marketing/Marketing Management in 2009.

After gaining valuable professional experience, Steven decided to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. In 2013, they enrolled at Arcadia University and completed their international MBA in 2014.

Steven's pursuit of knowledge continued in 2018 when they attended the University of Cambridge for an Executive Program in Strategic Digital Marketing. Steven successfully completed the program in 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Steven has also earned additional certifications. In 2019, they obtained a certification in Strategic Digital Marketing from the University of Cambridge. More recently, in May 2022, they achieved the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
