David Sierra

David Sierra is an experienced English Second Language Teacher with a diverse background in education. Currently teaching at Halton District School Board and Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board since 2022, David also teaches at ILAC and supervises IELTS at Xyna International School. In addition to these roles, David serves as a volunteer ESL tutor at Hamilton Public Library. Previously, as Managing Director at Access Language Centre from 2009 to 2018, David oversaw the startup of the language academy, including recruitment and curriculum design. David's teaching career began in the Bogota School District, where responsibilities included curriculum design and overseeing English language initiatives. David holds a Master of Education from the University of Ottawa, a TESOL Diploma from Canadian College of Educators, and a Bachelor of Education from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
