Jay Velasquez

Jay Velasquez currently serves as the Assistant Director of Housekeeping at Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa, a position held since August 2022. Prior to this role, Jay was a Housekeeping Manager at Hyatt House Shelton from January 2018 to August 2022, overseeing staff scheduling and addressing service complaints. Previous experience includes positions as a Housekeeping Supervisor and various roles in the painting industry, including Co-Owner of J’s Painting. Educational credentials include an Associate's degree in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology from Getaway Community College and an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from CT State Norwalk.
