Michael Frayne started their career as a Project Engineer at Sonco Steel Tube in 1989. Michael then worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Nabisco Biscuit Company from 1995 to 1998. In 1998, they became the Marketing Manager, Engineered Drives at Siemens Industry until 2000. From there, they joined Rockwell Automation as a Product Marketing Manager, serving from 2000 to 2008. Frayne then worked at Molex as a Global Product Manager from 2008 to 2012. Currently, they are employed at Hammond Power Solutions, where they held roles of increasing responsibility including Director of Marketing from 2012 to 2021, VP of Marketing from 2021 to 2023, and currently serves as the Senior VP, Power Quality & Power Conversion Solutions.
Michael Frayne completed their education in a chronological manner. Michael first attended Western University from 1981 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. After that, they enrolled in the Schulich School of Business at York University from 1992 to 1996, and successfully earned an M.B.A. with a specialization in International Business & Marketing. Additionally, they obtained the certification of P.Eng. from the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) in November 1989.
