William Nickerson has extensive experience in education and coaching, currently serving as the Head Football Coach at Minnechaug Regional High School since March 2020 and as a High School Mathematics Teacher at Hampden Wilbraham School District since August 2008. Nickerson teaches a variety of math classes, including Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Business and Personal Finance. Additionally, Nickerson has been a Board Member of the National Football Foundation, Western Massachusetts Chapter, since January 2011, where involvement includes networking with local coaches to promote football. Previously, Nickerson served as Assistant Football Coach at American International College from March 2012 to July 2019, specializing as a defensive line coach and co-special teams coordinator. Nickerson holds a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Westfield State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Springfield College.
