Brittany Welkes Lmsw

Brittany Welkes, LMSW, is an experienced psychiatric social worker currently employed at Hampstead Hospital since May 2021. Prior to this role, Brittany served as a Child Protective Services Social Worker with the Division of Children, Youth and Families from November 2020 to May 2021 and held various social services positions, including Social Services Staff at Trumbull Social Services and Social Work Stipend Intern at the Department of Children & Families. Brittany has worked comprehensively with clients by conducting home visits, developing treatment plans, and facilitating support groups. Education includes a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Sacred Heart University, along with early experiences in caregiving and community outreach.
