Tierra Ruffin, LPC, CCTP, is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in various therapeutic roles. Currently serving as a Licensed Therapist at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board since June 2018 and as a Licensed Primary Therapist at UHS since March 2015, Tierra oversees the delivery of inpatient and family services while conducting interventions and developing treatment plans. Prior roles include Military OneSource Triage/Special Needs Consultant at Value Options, where comprehensive assessments for various support needs were conducted, and an Intake Assistant at Eastern Virginia Medical School, providing clinical and clerical patient care. Tierra holds a Master of Counseling in Counseling Psychology from Liberty University, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Substance Abuse Counseling from Regent University, and an Associate degree in Liberal Arts from Saint Leo University.
