Apryl Roberts

Apryl Roberts has a diverse work experience spanning from 2002 to 2023. Apryl is currently the Director of Protocol and Special Events at Hampton University since May 2023. Prior to this, they were the Owner/Lead Consultant of their own event production company called Memorable Events By Apryl, which they started in March 2002. In 2022, Apryl worked as a Senior Producer for Pharrell Williams' Mighty Dream Forum and produced various events in Norfolk, including the Block Party. In 2021, they briefly worked as a Production Assistant for Pharrell Williams' Elephant In the Room project. Apryl also served as the President of the International Special Events Society (Hampton Roads Chapter) from July 2015 to June 2016.

Apryl Roberts received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University between 1992 and 1996.
