Desiree Williams

Desiree Williams, PT, DPT, is a dedicated Physical Therapist and owner of A Plus Care since August 2019, focusing on high-quality care and community support. With extensive experience in various roles, Desiree has served as a Physical Therapist at Dr. Desiree Williams, DPT, since October 2017, and has been involved in public speaking, on-camera talent, and health and fitness professional engagements since June 2014. Desiree co-authored the book "Love Affair With My Hair: Why Black Women Cheat on Health" and has held significant academic positions at Hampton University, including Assistant Professor and Interim Director of the William R. Harvey Leadership Institute. Additionally, Desiree's background includes roles with Riverside Health System and the Miss Virginia Organization, along with certification as a Yoga Instructor. Desiree obtained a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Hampton University in 2015 and a Bachelor of Science in Health & Physical Education in 2011.
