Sadie van Gelder

Sadie Van Gelder is an experienced instructor and consultant at Hand in Hand Parenting, focusing on children's emotional understanding and various parenting challenges since October 2009. Previously, Sadie held multiple roles at ProSocial from October 2015 to March 2020, where responsibilities included directing strategy and communications for social impact campaigns. As a content producer at Weill Media from April 2010 to September 2015, Sadie consulted on digital content marketing for global brands. From 1998 to 2015, Sadie served as a contributing editor and articles editor at Allure magazine, overseeing psychology and health content, in addition to roles at Mademoiselle and Us magazine. Early editorial experience includes positions at Seventeen and Premiere magazines. Sadie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Swarthmore College.
