Amy Parente

Amy Parente, MPA, is an experienced professional in program and relationship management, currently serving as a Relationship Manager at Handshake since August 2022. Prior to Handshake, Amy was a Client Success Manager at Mursion, where the focus was on enhancing human interaction through VR learning opportunities. Amy held multiple roles at the Institute of International Education, including Senior Program Manager for Global Development Programs, overseeing significant international funding, and Program Manager for the Center for Women's Leadership Initiatives. Earlier experience includes positions with Chevron and Goldman Environmental Prize, showcasing expertise in scholarship management, event coordination, and community engagement. Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Latin American Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Master of Public Administration, graduated with honors, from the University of Washington, concentrating on program management and international development.
