Gayana Gunarathne

Gayana G. has extensive experience in the textile and apparel industry, currently serving as an R&D Product Developer at Hanes Brands Australasia since November 2012, specializing in the research and development of sustainable fabrics and technology. Prior to this role, Gayana worked as a Fabric Technologist at Victoria's Secret from January 2005 to June 2012, where responsibilities included raw material sourcing, fit analysis, product testing, and coordinating with international factories to resolve production issues. Gayana G. holds a degree in Textile and Clothing Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, has studied Adobe Illustrator for Fashion at RMIT University, and has completed Google Project Management through Coursera.
