Julia Heitmann

Julia Heitmann serves as the Head of Communications and Business Partner Communications at Haniel since April 2021. Prior to this role, Julia worked as a Senior Consultant and Consultant at JP│KOM GmbH from October 2019 to March 2021. Julia's experience includes a position as Communications Officer at the University of Oxford, where contributions involved supporting a cultural change in internal communications and establishing a content strategy for internal digital platforms. Earlier roles include working as a Corporate Communications Working Student at Carlsberg Group and various positions related to media sales and communications at Gruner + Jahr. Julia’s career began with an internship in press and communications at Hamburger Hochbahn AG and reporting for Harburger Anzeigen und Nachrichten. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Global and Imperial History from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from Universität Hamburg.
