Uta Staschewski has extensive experience in leadership and management within international cooperation, particularly in Africa and the MENA region. Since June 2012, Uta has served as a representative for the Hanns Seidel Foundation, overseeing programs in Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, Kenya, and Ethiopia, where responsibilities include strategic planning, partnership development, and capacity building for local staff. Prior roles include Head of the Namibia Office, where Uta designed innovation spaces and climate awareness campaigns, and consultant roles focusing on judicial dialogue in West Africa. Uta's earlier career features positions at Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung für die Freiheit as a Program Officer, organizing legal roundtables at Ashoka, and gaining legal experience through various trainee positions. Uta holds a Master's degree in Law and a Bar Examination from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and Free State of Bavaria, respectively.
